Boxing, wrestling and self-defense, Monday through Friday. The club was named by the kids in it. It is not a babysitting program — they train.
Ventura City Council recognized the gym as a social hub for the Westside. Parents describe Bobby as patient. Kids say they feel safe and pushed.

Owner · Head coach

Nine pro MMA fights across California and Oregon. Started this gym in a Fix Way storage unit with a speed bag outside so people could see the work. Now at 407 N Ventura Ave.
Path wasn’t clean: prison after a 2010 arrest, then a personal-training cert and a return to coaching. Cops train next to felons here. Kids who slip still write from juvenile hall. He answers.
All kids are good. They just need something to make them believe in themselves.Bobby Taylor
